Spring Update 2010
Posted by Tia Ciferno and filed in BlogSpring Moments
Another season of ministry and family has passed and we are greeting the beginning of summer soon. There have been momentous changes in the lives of the Cifernos. My “baby” is graduating, our newest CD is almost finished, and I have a new calling in life (to add to the music ministry). I am in my third month as Executive Director of our local Pregnancy Care Center (these used to be called “crisis” pregnancy centers). But when God is in it, He gives strength for every moment, doesn’t He!

February found me in Florida again for ministries there.
Here is my dear friend Loretta in the red, who offered my serenading at local tea room.
What a joy to be back at Science Hill Community for their Ladies’ Retreat.
The theme was “Celebrating Your God Colors”… the women added their colors to the stain glass painting on the windows.
We rejoiced in the uniqueness of each lady, and God’s plan to give an array of colorful gifts and personalities in His People.

This is my miracle jacket of “many colors”… bought for $3.00 at Goodwill after praying the Lord would give me something to wear that fit the theme. AND it’s reversible. So that’s only $1.50 a side.
Again we held our Women in Music Ministry (W.I.M.M.) Seminar this spring and it was the best one yet! Our guest speaker this year was Deb Searles, recording artist, songwriter and mom to four. She was excellent.
Almost all of the 20 musicians shared their gifts with us in the second half of the day.
This is Carolyn singing to us.
Watch this sight or sign up for the newsletter to learn of the next WIMM gathering (probably in August or September)
Helen from North Benton Presbyterian lifted up her bucket at the beginning of service (after having a rough week) and said she brought the bucket to hold all the blessings she’d receive that morning from her Lord. Now THAT’S expectancy!
Julia and I loved meeting Dora and Ken at Leavittsburg Church of God. How in love they are after over 60 years!
They just happened to have their graduation photos with them so we snapped this shot.
Meet “Miracle Debbie!” She was given a 10% chance of living after being diagnosed with a large brain tumor. After going in for surgery the doctor was shocked to find NO TUMOR. Debbie is two months past that surgery and telling everyone she meets about her great and wondrous God.
