I first met Tia on a homeschooling tour in South Africa. The first time I heard her sing, I cried. Her music is that moving. She has a sweet, clear voice that never takes away from the most important part of her music: the lyrics. The words to her songs are clearly inspired by God. Tia Ciferno and I had the privilege of ministering in music together while she was in South Africa in 2004. Tia was the worship leader at our women’s leaders retreat and she also ministered in music at our home school conference in Cape Town. Her ministry on both these occasions was powerful and deeply intimate, reflecting her deep desire to daily walk near to Him.
I have continued to use Tia’s CD’s, “Healer of My Heart” and “Safely Home”, when ministering encouragement to families who are home schooling their children in the city of Cape Town and surrounds. The songs on these CD’s have brought deep ministry to parents specifically regarding their call to ‘train up their children in the way they should go’. I would highly recommend Tia as a women of God who through His gift of music leads people to meditate on “whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things.” (Phil 4:8)

I am the secretary at Poland Village Baptist Church and I was at your lawn concert there on Aug. 4th. I wanted you to know how blessed I was by your concert. I purchased your “Lullaby” CD. Our youngest daughter & her husband are adopting a baby from Guatemala (their first) so I thought your CD would help her and her new daughter. I listened to it for days myself as I traveled to Austintown to care for my 99 year old mother (this will be her first greatgrand child). How it blessed my heart and brought back so many memories of having my three daughters. I was going to save it for Linda until after she brought the baby home but decided to give it to her a week ago. Two days after I gave it to her she received word that the adoption had finally passed the courts in Guatemala (6 months) Linda said she was excited, but a little scared as well. I told her to go listen to your CD & that would help.I just wanted you to know that the Lord is working through your CD as well as through your concerts. I loved the idea of giving the CD to newmothers. Thank you so much for the blessing you have brought us.I pray the Lord continues to bless you, your family, and your ministry for Him.

Thank you for sharing your gifts of music, composing and witnessing on the 16th. What a way to end the evening! It’s been two weeks since the corn roast, and we are STILL receiving positive feedback, and you are a big part of that! The Holy Spirit was at work that day when we reached out to scores and scores of unchurched. The free food may have drawn them in, but the Spirit kept them there.
